Terms
Terms of work
These terms cover quotes and jobs from Entry Latch Building Systems Ltd. The website form is not itself an order.
Who is contracting
Entry Latch Building Systems Ltd., company no. 516284734, 18 HaMelacha Street, Holon Industrial Area, Holon 5881509, Israel. The customer is the owner, the house committee, or the management company named on the quote. A resident who is not one of those does not become the customer by filling in the form.
A quote is not a booking
Figures on this website are the October 2026 rate card. A WhatsApp note from the quote form, an email, or a phone call is a request. The job is booked when the desk confirms in a reply, with a day that is not Saturday. A preferred date on the form is not reserved. We may decline a job that asks us to record a private home, or that we cannot reach inside an honest travel day.
Access
The customer provides access to the entrance, the riser or tray, the cupboard, and the flats or suites that are part of the job, at the agreed time. If we wait more than 30 minutes because a flat will not open or a key does not work, we may charge 180 ILS for each further half hour, or we leave and rebook. We do not force a door. We do not enter a flat where the occupier has refused us, even if the committee is impatient.
Existing wiring
Prices that say “working riser” assume the existing cable carries a signal to the flats we test that morning. A dead pair, a conduit we cannot use, a tray that is already full, or a cupboard with no socket is a variation. We price the variation before we continue. Surface conduit on a dead riser is on the rate card at 690 ILS a floor. Core drilling, a new electrical circuit, and an internet line are not assumed. The door must latch under its own closer. An electric strike does not cure a door that drags, and we will not fit one until the leaf closes.
VAT and payment
Prices on the website include VAT at 18 percent, the rate used on this October 2026 card. The tax invoice shows a VAT line. If the statutory rate has changed by the day of the invoice, the invoice uses the rate in force and the total moves with it. We say so before we take payment if the change is material. Payment is by transfer to the company account written on the invoice, or by the card method the desk names. Balance is due on completion unless the quote says otherwise. If we have to order a panel or a recorder that we cannot return, the quote may ask for 40 percent before we order. That deposit is stated on the quote, not added later in the stair.
Hours, Friday, Saturday, night
Work is Sunday to Thursday 08:00–17:00 and Friday 08:00–13:00. Saturday is not a working day and is not a call-out day. A night visit is available only Sunday to Thursday 19:00–22:00, only for a dead entrance strike when residents cannot enter, at the call-out on the rate card plus parts. We do not attend after 22:00.
Warranty and limit
Labour and parts we supply are warranted for 12 months from completion, against failure in ordinary use. The warranty does not cover a riser we did not replace, a door a carpenter should have adjusted, water in a cupboard left open, damage after a password was shared with the whole building, or a disk that filled because the committee later set retention far beyond the disk we supplied. We do not insure the building’s contents. Our liability for a service visit is limited to the price paid for that visit, except where Israeli law does not allow a limit, including for bodily injury caused by negligence and for wilful misconduct.
Cancellation
A booked day cancelled with less than one full working day’s notice is charged the survey fee of 280 ILS. Parts already ordered and not returnable are charged at cost if the quote said they were a special order.
Cameras and common property
We install cameras only on the instruction of the owner or the house committee, or a management company they authorise, and only where the camera is visible and aimed at common property or at the office areas that party controls. We may refuse a location that looks into a dwelling. Signs and the retention setting are part of a camera job.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts in Tel Aviv-Yafo have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any right a consumer cannot waive under Israeli law. If a house committee is contracting for a building, it is contracting as that building’s representative, not as a private consumer for a household kettle, and the quote will name the building.
